about

the prattle-machine is an ossified world of smooth operation which precludes the existence of silence the dominant reality the reigning strata is a world already spoken for with its deep investments in recorded memory stable articulations uniform identities and dialectical thought within its uncompromising purview undulations multiplicities gestures and reflections are crucified against their representation and a value of zero is given to the reticent silence is problematic for the machine with its limited pragmatic significance inherent critique of facades of permanence and resistance to facile description the machine’s ceaseless buzzing and monotonous clamour fills all space for authentic response with prepared conclusions denying the recovery of an immanent creativity and lucid intuition through the unrelenting installation of abstract impressions it says we must have names for experience before we endure experience ineffability is shackled because its orientation is antithetical to values esteemed by the machine learn to lose the names that tether you to a sterile dream become ineffable take up silence as a weapon use language not merely to shape life but to restore you to its forces a life which exposes its difference in expressions of singularity is a life which escapes the apparatus of categorical belonging is an existence woven gracefully into the fabric of creation the machine cannot negotiate fissures pauses silences these niches of absence carved out of the homogenous drone precipitate the collapse of disembodied drivel and one-dimensionl engagment life breathes again when silence lights the body in the movement of desire

wave upon wave this eternal sea of bodies folding beyond comprehension hemming and carving the rushing flow with the tongue for then against the eyes the things of the world once wrested from their dimness by the light of the word now veiled and diminished by the penury of that which reveals a fabled will bridges lacunae between framed events senses spill outside the matrices of language but the limits of the earth remain in our parched and damaged mouths the voice sedates the body blankets it in the appeasing quilts of knowledge and purpose such tender reveries if the name could cease to frame and be but intensified breath speech refuses to oppose then slips into the sea movement without ground language falls from meaning every transparent word bespeaks immanence we become intensities and nothing other in this flight into the arms of forgetting

in collapsing the scaffolding of objects and linguistic subjects in their pronominal and proper form, silence transports [us] to bodies in their unknown exteriority, giving [us] over to a confrontation with [our] movement within an outside . in pulling thought down from the lofty but blind flights of pedestrian drivel, silence opens us to the possibility of real problematic encounters which refuse appeasement through mere attribution of terms. such encounters force thought into action by riveting attention upon nuances that cannot be assimilated to the content of hoarded knowledge. in this sense, sinking into authentic silence constitutes a realignment with the organic but obscured forces of creation, with the unceasing tide of the whole of nature as organism. silence lets us peer through our own selfhood, allowing the body to listen to its immanent movement, opening a space for response to the call of what has never yet been

The question of identity has purchase only if the notion of the infinite differential field is bracketed. These frequencies are the gestures of a dissolution.
